Product Introduction
Jib cranes work by using flexible cables to connect the auxiliary lifting equipment on the robotic arm to the clamp. This equipment is used in conjunction with various customized fixtures to realize the handling, stacking, loading and unloading of workpieces. Using this equipment, labor costs can be saved, work efficiency can be improved, and physical strain caused by workers carrying heavy objects can be greatly avoided. Cantilever cranes are widely used in factory assembly lines and logistics lines.
Hoist for Jib Crane
Jib Crane consists of three components: the column and cantilever arm, the auxiliary lifting hoist, and the non-standard fixture. The auxiliary lifting hoist includes Electric hoist, Smart lifter, and pneumatic air balancer.
Cantilever Crane and Folding Arm Crane
There are two main types of jib cranes: cantilever crane and knuckle jib crane. The cantilever arm is suitable for places with a large space, and the cantilever arm of the folding arm is folded, which is suitable for places with a small space. The jib arm of the cantilever crane is a straight arm. The jib arm rotates around the column and the hoist moves laterally under the jib arm to cover the circular working area. The jib arm of the knuckle arm crane is folded. The jib arm rotates around the column and the hoist is fixed on the jib arm. The end part is folded by the spiral arm to cover the circular working area. The difference lies in different structures, different usage scenarios, different lifting capacities, etc.
1. Structure: The cantilever crane's swing arm and column are in a hanging shape. The lifting object is under the swing arm and the column is at the other end. The swing arm and column of the folding arm crane are folded. After the swing arm is folded, it can be close to the column and occupy a small space.
2. Usage scenarios: Cantilever cranes are suitable for places with large indoor and outdoor spaces, such as factories, warehouses, etc. They can be installed on factory pillars and used to transport large items. Knuckle arm cranes are suitable for places with small indoor spaces, such as workshops, garages, etc. They can be installed on walls or pillars to carry small items.
3. Lifting capacity: Because the jib crane has a longer jib, it can bear greater weight. The knuckle arm crane has a shorter jib and generally has a relatively small lifting capacity.

Installation Way
There are different types of cranes based on how they are installed. These include cantilever crane, folding arm crane, movable base cantilever crane, and truss crane. Cantilever crane and the folding arm crane are the most commonly used ones.
